The Delta Lake Delegate Program exists to empower community members with tools and resources needed to:
  • Promote Delta Lake projects and technology
  • Educate a local community on the Delta Lake mission and technical aspects
  • Engage Delta Lake community growth
Requirements:
  • Actively involved in the Delta Lake community as a contributor, blogger, speaker, etc.
  • Organize and host at least two local Delta Lake community events/year (Meetups).
  • Affiliated with an organizational member OR make substantial individual contributions.
  • Willing to speak at community events OR contribute technical content like blog posts, video tutorials, training modules, etc.
  • Advocate for Delta Lake at events, evangelizing and disseminating information about Delta Lake.
  • Be a source of information and support for those interested in Delta Lake and help the local community learn more about Delta Lake.
  • Facilitate the local community's understanding and exploration of Delta Lake.
  • Publicly represent and uphold the interests of the Delta Lake community.
Successful delegates encompass engineers, developers, bloggers, influencers, and evangelists who are actively involved in Delta Lake. They contribute to work groups, online communities, community events, training sessions, workshops, and various related activities.
